Confiando en AMD
Mi primera PC la compré en Austria. La empresa se llamaba Oronge y casualidades de la vida…cerró algunos meses después sin que me entere porque. Lo bueno es que siempre funcionó perfectamente. Era un AMD Athlon XP 1700+ lo que quería decir que el procesador funcionaba a 1400 MHz (y no a 1700 como yo creía) y con unos miserables 512 MB de RAM aunque para lo qué tenía en la época creo que bastaban. Lo del disco duro ya no me acuerdo, pero creo que tenía 80 GB a lo mucho.
Pues resulta que ahora voy a tener un AMD Athlon X2 6400+ (3000MHz) de doble núcleo (de ahí el X2), 4 GB de RAM a 800 MHz y caja nueva. La actual la voy a vender a mi ex-compañero de piso, que siempre me consigue algo. Si lo hace, la compu me puede salir por solo 150 y pico de euros. (o menos).
El problema es que la tienda donde he comprado las partes demora demasiado, por que la he pedido hace ya una semana. El lío se formó cuando la millonésima vez que llame me dijeron que el procesador no traía dipador por lo qué he tenido que pedir uno nuevo y según he leído está bastante bien.

Con casi un mes de uso, no puedo quejarme. El único problema es que ahora mismo me conecto por wifi, con lo que Linux no me va a ir, y mucho menos algún Windows de 64 bits (que para eso tengo este pedazo de procesador, no?)
La Resaca es mala…mala, mala, mala!
Ayer me fui a la feria, pensé que sería buena idea. De arranque pedimos comidita…y cerveza….mucha cerveza y claro, una cosa lleva a la otra y terminé mega borracho 
llegué a casa a las 10pm con muchas palabras de más y muchas disculpas de menos (yo me entiendo) y a las 5 la cabeza me reventaba, pero felizmente el hibuprofeno me salvó la vida 
cuando entré a las 8am estaba bien, pero ahora que son las 14 me siento super-cansado, felizmente no trabajo hoy, asi que no voy a tener problemas 
Ah!! y hoy me ponen linea telefónica con Tele2 (un servicio de atención al cliente fenomenal!, aunque hayan demorado 24 días en realizar la conexión).

After searching like hell, I finaly got World of Warcraft to work in Linux and it work amazingly good. You just have to install WoW OR use the installed version of WoW from your Windows partition (that\’s what I did).
Then just run cedega WoW.exe and you will get this:

As you can see, the quality is amazing, althou at the beginning the fps are really low (I think it\’s not more than 10 FPS) but I’m not sure if it’s gonna get better. The last time I did it (before this one I mean) the fps were very good, then my realm went offline and I had to change for other one and it was REALLY slow (again: like 5 FPS) and then, suddlenly, everything was running flawlessly.

Changing sources.list to Dapper
Yesterday I changed my repositories to Dapper, but it broke my system and I couldn’t boot Kubuntu…lets see whats going on, I will use the old Xorg file and try to use it to start up KDE (which I think is the problem)…but I will have to wait until the evening when I come back from work…dammn it!
In order ti change it to dapper, I replaced everything that has to do with breezy to drapper…and that was it.
My sources.list ended up like this:

Or something, not sure now. At the end I had to reinstall the whole system as it crashed my system and wasn’t able to boot. Now I have it back to Breezy let’s wait until next release! when? well, as the Flight CD4 has been released on February 19th, I’ll have to wait a little bit more
