Cambiando gxine un poco

Si hay algo que nunca me ha gustado de xine (aunque ahora uso gxine) es que cuando le daba la flecha de la derecha (ya sabes, las direccionales) se adelantaba 1 minuto en vez de los 5 segundos que yo quería, asi que hoy he decidido que quería cambiarlo.

Lo que hice fue ir a Archivo -> Configurar -> Atajos de Teclado ahí edité la linea que pone “left” poniendo

if (!vdr ('FASTREW') && !is_live_stream ()) play (0, get_time()-3000);

a pesar de usar “-3000″, haciendo referencia a 3000 milisegundos, el retraso será de 5 segundos, no preguntes por qué…

Para “right” usé

if (!vdr ('FASTREW') && !is_live_stream ()) play (0, get_time()+7000);

En este caso tuve que usar +7000 (7 segundos) para que adelante 5 segundos…

Además de ello, tuve que enlazar /dev/scd0 hacia /dev/dvd, así:

ln -s /dev/scd0 /dev/dvd

para poder reproducir DVDs

Al menos hasta ahora son los dos únicos cambios que tuve que hacer en (g)xine para mi comodidad

EDIT: tuve que editar /etc/rc.local para añadir una línea (la del enlace al dvd) para que se ejecute cada vez que inicio la PC, sino, tengo que hacerlo cada vez que reinicio…

My DREAM Job

Facts about TV and Movies

Today I was at Eva’s watching C.S.I. and I noticed some things I always see in movies and TV series:

• Why computers always make weird noises when people are working at them?
• Why is that when they are searching any room, it’s always dark and dusty…always!?
• Why, when there is a window open, it has soooooo much light coming from outside?
• Why searches are so easy to make? the first result is always the one he/she needs.

Actually, I can’t remember more, but when I do, I’ll post them here
