Algo ha pasado, no se qué, pero desde hoy no me funciona la galería de fotos. Hace un par de días pedí ayuda acerca de unos links que no llevaban a ningun sitio, pero hoy ha sido lo último: un simple ???????? ????? ????????404 - Page not found ha sido el batucazo en toda la cien…

Ahora a reinstalar todo…vaya mierda

Imagínate cruzar el charco, llegas al aeropueto de XXXXX City y lo primero que te dicen es “Abre tu portátil, enciéndelo e introduce tu clave” y tu, sin más remedio lo haces. 15 minutos después (en el mejor de los casos) te la devuelven. Qué han hecho con él? Ni puta idea, pero han reportado que lo hacen desde febrero.

Luego dicen que es un país libre? Libres mis huevos. Vas de visita, te llegas el portátil y lo primero que te pasa es que los cabrones yakees copian todos tus archivos “por si acaso”?

Resulta que hace poco quería hacer una video-llamada a mi hermano pero me di cuenta que mi webcam no funcionaba (!!!!) asi que empecé a trastearla a ver si todo iba bien:

• Conectarla
• Desconectarla
• Reiniciar con la webcam conectada
• Reiniciar con la webcam desconectada
• Apagar
• Encender

Hasta que dije: A la mierda, me quedo sin webcam (mi hermosa ClickSmart 510 que en su época me costó una millonada). Y como hago con todo lo que ya no funciona empecé a desarmarla. La cámara es muy pequeña por dentro: un poco más de la mitad lo demás es vacío y el compartimento de las pilas.

Pero luego empecé a pensar…y llegué a la conclusión que lo mejor sería primero instalar los drivers y luego intentar usar la webcam! :? Con la webcam en pedazos y maldiciendo mi falta de razonamiento empecé a ensamblarla otra vez.

Luego de instalar (y reinstalar) el driver, la camara funciona bien, aunque la calidad de la imagen no es la misma, pero para lo que le he hecho a la pobre, es más que suficiente….no me puedo quejar.

La próxima vez me aseguraré primero que he instalado los drivers ANTES de hacer cualquier otra cosa…

Today I wanted to update my Gallery theme. All I did was break it up. I have to use an old theme (which still works) and I haven’t found a way to solve this. DAMN YOU GALLERY (although it’s my own fault…).

Instead of uninstalling the theme and the upgrade it, I just deleted the folder directly from the server.

I might get some help here, but it’s gonna take some days…

I’ve been watching The Office, and I have to say that that is my dream job. Althou the boss is kind of annoying, I love every single character of that show, specially Pam and Jim. Geez, I need that job

2 straight nights off-line… I even feel weird!. I hope tomorrow I get back online. At least that’s what my ISP said (they make a mistake with the payment and they cut our connection sooner than what the letter said).

So, no reconnection fees lets hope they don’t do this again: WE are getting very mad.
